I'm not 100% happy with the upcoming patch or things said in the Live Letter, (some things could have been better or explained in more detail) but regardless, the new patch looks awesome and I'm looking forward to it.

I hope Square manage to deal with the constant confliction of what the playerbase want, one minute nerfed content, the next minute difficult content, one minute raid focus, the next minute lack of something else, blah blah blah.

This is just a thread to say good job with a lot of the upcoming elements of the next patch. It looks really fun and I personally can't wait for it.

Ya I just hope the normal version of the airship thing isn't a total pushover as a lot of ppl prob wont have the resources to do the hard one. 3 airships at rank 50? lol, why?

But overall I like what I see, the arboretum thing looks fun, along with void ark, and airships.

Most of the Patches after 2.2 was just 1 EX primal and yeah we get 2 dungeons but we also get:

Minon battles, Airship missons, new GS mini games, relic questline, 24 man raid, new hairstyles, flying mounts, more minions.

to me this patch seems to bring us the most content any patch has.

well, hairstyles every patch had, even minions and mount sometime,
relic questline isn't something new, and even 24-man raid,
minigames and LotV will be a thing but will not endure so much.. look at TT or Chocobo racing.. are fun but if they keep them "hard" and not "fun", less people will play it costantly.

I hope more in challenge than quantity in this patch... cuz older patch offer more content but with ridicolous challenge ^^

About the New primal part, were still getting a EX fight which is like the main thing for patches. Peeps do the HM version of the primals just once but farm EX. So as long as we're getting 1 EX may it be based on a new primal or a fight that didn't have one not that it matters either way, it's ok. As you said you want more in challenge, King Thordan shall provide.

yeah maybe i wrote bad, i'm not bothering for content if they are bringing in challenging content ^^ i'm really happy with exploratory and i hope so for thordan and void ark >.<

My only drawback is the materia on raid/tomes gear, I fear that people might want to kick party members who are not pentamelded. That would be a great burden for me, since I don't have lv60 crafters to meld or omnicrafter friends.

Usefull materia, like crit+4 or 7 are damn expensiv!
Im not gonna waste my hard earned gil for little effeckts <,<
Besides we have food boosts! o_O

I think its a bad move making tome gears materia-meldable!
