What they mean by "change the damage calculations of tanks"?

I agree, I was merely countering the post I quoted.

Hopefully they use their brains when they restructure and don't completely ruin things.

Mainly just wanted to comment on the accessory locking and throw in a few cents afterwards.

I agree and hopefully they will just "flip it" and have it be more or less the same DPS as now with the current meta only with more HP and the world will move on with nothing of value lost.
(-cough- Well except some lucrative sales for a few crafters -cough-)

Or they will make STR worthless while also lowering our DPS with no way to get it back up and probably piss a lot of people off, though I guess it might fix the whole PLD vs DRK/WAR thing? ;-; "ItsokayifPLDDPSisbadcauseallourDPSisbadnow"

I think the main issue here is going to be how much our DPS changes due to this.
Cause lets be real that's pretty much the only thing people care about after the whole not getting one shot aspect.
