    I hope there won't be any nerfs to the ''actual'' astrologian due to those news ''adjustments''. That would be stupid but who knows

    I didn't want to scroll through +11 pages to find a single answer, so please help me out, did the update make Astrologians more playable, are they on par with Scholars now in terms of versatility?

    They're adequate WHM substitutes while using Diurnal Sect but Nocturnal AST doesn't quite touch SCH in terms of mitigation, healing, and consistent raid DPS contribution. So, yes and no?

    It's certainly playable and can do fine on all currently available content, though. I'd still be hesitant to go AST+WHM on A3s (and then again it doesn't matter as much as before) and especially A4s but it works alright with AST+SCH.
