So this theory's a stretch, but I wanted to know if others agreed with my concept of what's really going on here.
FF1 - We arrive and begin to obtain and empower the crystals to prove ourselves as the WoL. Before we ultimately prove ourselves (technically as our story begins), we end up saving the 'Princess' (Minfilia) from the biggest Garland Expy we've had in ages (Gaius). Oh yeah, and the Princess is kidnapped on the way...
FF2 - We ultimately end up on the 'run' from the empire (FF2 starts), our 'home' destroyed and friends lost due to their assault. We search for a means to stop the empire and the forces of Hell (Zodiark's forces). Early expy by Mateus' (ambiguously) good side (Elidibus) and evil side (Lahabrea), although we never fight Mateus himself. Ultimately again, 2.0 ends with us on 'run' from the Syndicate 'Empire', friends, 'family' and 'home' are snatched from right under us.
FF3 - More a side story, we end up living the CT and WoD arcs of this game in the raid.

FF4 : The moon. We encounter our Dragoon gone mind controlled by Golbezhogg. We're going to fight ourselves (kinda) like Cecil did to make our light stronger! The Crystals are losing strength 'cause some douche depowered/destroyed them. F***er. Also Ishgard plays a damn good Baron, home to Dark Knights and Dragoons (Cecil and Kain/Estinien), run by monsters/Summons underneath a big bad (Thordan/Golbez) manipulated by a bigger Bad (Zemus/Zodiark).
FF5 : Everything Sharalyan. We've done Mid/Cid's Library already full blown. We got Krile/Kururu BALDESION, which speaks volumes. We know that whatever destroyed Baldesion Academy, was equivalent to Ultima! What stands even to Ultima in the games? Meteo/r! Who uses Meteo/r? ExDeath!
FF6: As with FF3, looking to be our side story, focusing on the War of the Magi and the Warring Triad. Also we got a Kefka expy prepared as of late 2.X who's also been summoned (and still 'loose') in one of the ruins of one of the kingdoms that participated in the War of the Magi. Did I mention Thordan covers Getsahl enough as to the cause of the Warring Triad being awoken?

Mind you, this is just noticing an odd pattern that thus far we're vaguely covering the plots of 2 FF at a time, while experiencing our own unique twist on them. Anyone else feel they agree with this pattern? (Albeit this is pretty vague I guess, the similarities are there...)
