If you are not crafter and if you stick only to one role. One of my retainers is entirely filled up with lvl 51-60 dungeon gear and you can't even store all of it in one... Of course as soon as I get them to 60 I will be able to probably live with only two, but for the time being nope.

Weak, really, really weak, Square Enix. You might as well have outright said: "No, buy more retainers and give us your money!", because that's what it basically comes down to.

It's really not possible unless you cut corners a lot. I broke down and got a 3rd a few months back because all the new items were taking up space, I even lowered the quality of most items assuming I can make the item HQ without. Sold a bunch of Rank 1 materia and even now with 3 I am almost strapped for space.

They should stop everything they are doing, and instead work on fixing these "limitations and limits" they speak of so often.

Every request for features, functions, improvements... you name it from players, other MMO's or even XI is met usually by this... it seems like a pretty bad thing to not be put at the top of the list of urgent fixes.

Soon it'll be "can I have one extra pixel added to the party list background" and the response will be "limitations met"... it's way too common a response, it's shameful to be honest in the likelihood of this being the response. These limitations and limits should be talked about and discussed more, in hopes that media can make it something they need to resolve or face ridicule.

Personally, I would be 100% fine with another Dalamud crashing down if it meant that when the realm awoke again most of these "limitations and limits" were gone.

Nah, I have a lot of jobs with my main character, and I can manage with 2. In fact I almost don't use the second one, because using retainers is also a pain in the ass.

You just can't have a lot of gear, of course. Just save the usefull one (lvl 60) and a few sets that you like. But, for leveling you don't really need to save gear. Just take whatever you find and it's usually ok....


Even destroying gear, or giving it on delivery misions is quite painfull. The interface coud really use a facewash...
