Still not a personal fan of the female hairstyle, but the male one is awesome in-game. Shame you can't use it for retainers.

I like both hairstyles but I think the flower can be a little troublesome for someone who wants to use it, you can't change its color and AuRa horns have major clipping issues with it.
Maybe they could make a version without the flower? And also make a few more versions with different colored flowers too? >w>()

This may be off topic, but I would like to use the male hairstyle, but I dont see it in the list. Do I have to unlock it? the patch notes didnt say anything to my knowledge.

It's available in the gold saucer from an npc standing near the prize claim one for a small amount of mgp.

It would be nice if there was several versions of it (one without the hair ornament, or at least without the "leaves", one that is mirrored so that if it is a bad side for your character, you could pick and choose which one works best). Am I the only one who would love a two-tail version as well?

Great idea! I would love stuff like this, especially because isn't that the side that always gets eye patched too? XD

Can't say i liked the new hairstyle too much I felt it didn't sit right with my character especially with that damned accessory, oh well ^.^
