Wrong video resolution in all cutscenes on ultra wide monitor

Recently I started using ultrawide monitor, 29", 2560х1080.
    The game itself runs perfectly:

But in all cutscenes (for example opening scenes of all primals or dungeons) I get two black vertical borders on both sides. I suppose that the game changes here the resolution to 1920х1080.

Is there any way to avoid this change? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May have to force scaling in your video driver somehow? The scenes were rendered in 16:9 or 4:3 format though....stretching it out to 21:9 might look pretty funky.

It's sort of like your Blu-Ray/DVD playback...it is pre-rendered at a specific format/resolution. If the playback devices aren't configured to scale it to full screen, it will letterbox it like that. Gameplay on the other hand is rendered on the fly and can be adjusted in real-time to render at the proper ratio/resolution.

Cutscenes are not pre-rendered. They're rendered in real-time.

The scene may be preset to render may have been a better way to phrase it I guess. They could be loading the entire zone for the instance I guess...but that seems like it might be a bit more resource intensive then needed.

The point is there may be a sort of forced/preset configuration for the cut scenes, and depending on how your driver works it may scale it or it may letterbox it just like you sometimes see with DVD's and such.
