I'd rather pay $3-5 for old event items rather than farming 1,000,000 MGP. If it was one or the other, I believe cash shop is the better option.That would be in interesting idea, placing them on MGP would ensure players are able to get them, but not buy them cheaply for Gil, while the Cash Shop would still exists as an easier method (You did mention the Cactpot, so I would assume these would be Cloud/Fenrir tier of expensive at least)
Amen! I get that it will be an offer to have access on all characters, but like our m8 said they should stop ripping us, that should be a standar, I already pay the product the hell I need to buy multiple times for each characater, it's ridiculous

the store go to content devolopment so i support it because it in return give back to the game content
The monthly fee we pay IS the incentive to make more content. The reason other games have cash shops is because that is the main source of income.
I don't care what they do with the cash shop as long as the items are atainable in the game (Even the physical reward ones should be attainable at as mentioned the highest tier) Let seasonal event items start of as pricy as the gambler set and every season drop in price or become cheap during that seasonal events timeline (IE Halloween stuff gets cheap MGP when it's All Saints Wake)
Seasonal Items should be cheaper than physical items of course but I'd leave that up to SE to decide the MGP price if they still felt like nickle and diming customers it would be high though.

I want the lightning event stuff idc if it cost 20$ or whatever xD
@TheCurls and Seoulstar
'cause people never complain about events now, right?
As for the stuff that Dree-Elle mentioned that I missed out on, I don't mind either. It's annoying that so many people feel like they should have everything even if they weren't around for it.
I'm neither saying that I mind nor that I don't mind, only that there is indeed a precedent for "permanent retirement" of in-game items. Indeed it is incredibly hypocritical to retire only certain event items, and not others. What makes any one-time event item more worthy of a return than another? There seems to be little rhyme or reason to it.
