Hah why did I never think to respond with that - Awesome point indeed!

To back it up, I power levelled my CNJ from 1-30 the other day, and within 2 pulls in my first normal experience party, I was healing far above and beyond the level of the other healer, who was spamming Curaga II like it gave him skittles on use.

The thing you can never get around is that some people are just terminally stupid. No matter what level they are or how much grinding they have done, they will simply never be good at the game. These people slowly get to 50, and then potter about making doomed to fail pick up groups for content they are no where near ready for. If you ask me, these are the people that cause the endgame issues, as they occasionally find themselves in endgame shells, with no clue, nor no want to learn about the boss encounters, dungeons, events and fights ahead. They just drift about with a half baked smile, while they are not quite on the same page as everyone else.

Don't see me as an elitist though, infact I strive on helping others ingame, for example I regularly give out the entire contents of my inventory to help LS crafters (and we are talking a considerable amount of farmed stuff here, not just a Faerie Apple and a Rothlyt Oyster), and have spent countless hours trying to give very polite and well directed advice to those who appear to be performing far below the required skill level for the task at hand. I never say "OMG NOOB YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG OLOLOL", instead will always approach things with "Hey man, those spells you are using are not really right for this, if you try to go down a spell tier, or possibly move round here, or maybe just watch me, you might find you die less and can gain a much more steady rate of exp". Most just ignore it, as they don't appear to be watching anything going on on screen anyways. But yup, the biggest issue is those of us just wanting an option to get away from these headaches, aren't we the spawn of the devil?

In the same respect, I do not think these people should be punished for their lack of skill either, if they enjoy the game, then good for them, and im sure they will meet other like minded players and they can all be thick together, but power levelling gave me the option to skirt around this stuff, which was very common in the dunes/qufim in FFXI, and in low end dungeons in WoW.

Usually the higher you fly, the less muppetry there is (there is more drama up here though, but less chance of a muppet spamming Curaga 19 on you when you have taken 4 damage), and I loved power levelling for this, but no, now I have to rejoin the grind with these bottom of the gene pool bottom feeders, to go through all that stress while trying to level.

Was fun while it lasted though, and got a lot of my jobs up to the mid 20's while I could. Should I be punished for this? Of course not, I just did what I enjoyed at no one else's expense and here I stand.
