Punishment for exploitation of Power Leveling

No you have it all wrong.

SE thinks of ways to help the nice people who play the game
So they make power leveling
Then mean people come in and try and hurt SEs nice intentions and swarm the fields with weapons and plung them into SEs heart in the form of dodos.
Then everyone is sad that mean people are doing that
Then SE comes in and says stop it!
Then SE comes in and takes out those who were so mean!

If I am not mistaking Yoshida gave us permission 3 separate times to pwrlvl. twice before in dev post and once in a live letter.

So if he penalizes anyone after telling them it is 100% ok to do... well yea he will lose a ton of players.

An exploit is doing something wrong, he gave us permission to pwrlvl saying he feels it is 100% ok.

He was warned this would happen by hundreds of people, he ignored it, it is now Yoshida's fault not the playerbase. Would be like taking everyones gil away because leves use to give too much... so we exploited leves to get alot of gil.

I feel there should be some sort of punishment for those who willing took advantage of power leveling. Either a rollback of the ill gotten experience points, or even a suspension or ban for the really big exploiters. It's unfair to those that leveled legitimately.

but that isnt the case here

heres whats happening

1) they have stated that they made a mistake and didnt expect something to happen(how much exp we gained basicaly with mass aoe linking and chains)
2) they have stated the biggest issue is the afk leveling
3) they have acknowledged this will be fixed next patch
4) they state that power leveling will still be encouraged and available(just not to this extent)

i dont see a reason to ban anyone, but yeah i remember the launch issues, that was something different entirely since they addressed people on it and they still did it after being told not to
