Jukebox for house

Was watching a vid on youtube, and got and idea.

Why can't we set any music we want in our own houses, or FC houses?

(maybe its already possible, but I don't know about it?)


I would think that it would be very cool to be able to set what music you what to listen to in your own house.

They could just make it as a Jukebox item, or something craftable (or even do an event where everyone can get one!)


I could be any BGM from the game, or only ones you've cleared, or ones you've heard b4.

Maybe they could put it in Golden Saucer as an item for like 100k mgp, and you pay MGP to play songs in your house? (althought i'd prefer free, but w/e gets it done right)

I could have sworn this was mentioned as something they were maybe going to do along with a furnishing that would allow you to adjust the lighting in parts of your house.

I personally really want these.

As far as what songs, I would want all of the in-game music potentially available.

Could be interesting if the added a collection aspect to it where you had to buy, earn, find different records to unlock the different songs on the juke box.

It was mentioned and they are looking into the matter to see if they can do it, but they did not promise anything that it will come.

Really hoping they implement this. Sometimes I just want to rock out to Oblivion and sometimes I might want to relax with Twilight Over Thanalan. It could give the houses a little more flavor.

Even better if some of songs were like CD drops like in Phantasy Star Universe so players can maybe go out or do content to collect them.

I was just going to recommend this! It sounds like great incentive to mess around with groups and getting CD's as semi-rare drops. Maybe I could actually get a group going to go T13 so I can get my ludicrously large gun as a drop while using the Answers-CD as bait! Huehuehue.

I'd be all for it, be nice change of pace for those who stick around the house a lot. Though I am also still hoping they add a manikin to the house that can be designed with armor/clothing sets. I mean we do see those in crafting quests at times.
