I'd like to walk into my house and hear the Garden theme from FF8... ♥

The last time I saw it mentioned was back in January here, where both Yoshi and Soken stated that they were still working on the jukebox (called an 'orchestrion', an item from FFXI) but were aiming to have it "ready" by "3.0 or 3.1":
Whether there has been more up to date news on this I have no idea, as I haven't heard anything more about it. I admit this is one feature I am eagerly awaiting, and really hope that the music available for it includes the 'missing' 1.0 tracks that have not yet returned, like the old 1.0 city/field zone themes (like Navigator's Glory and Born of the Boughs) and the old battle themes (such as The Forest's Pulse and The Seventh Gate). Either way, I guess we'll find out soon enough.Originally Posted by Gildrein

A: Yoshida: I think this kind of item would be a nice addition. Just the other day I was looking over documents for an item named “Orchestrion.” It said you’ll be able to obtain songs in some way and play them whenever you want. After this is implemented we're planning to add new songs for it with each patch.
Soken: If there's a spec document for a jukebox, then we can add it.
Yoshida: We're aiming to implement the Orchestrion in Patch 3.0 or 3.1.![]()
I am down with absolutely anything to get rid of that horrible music that plays throughout the housing areas.
Turning it off isn't good enough, i can still hear it in my head, it doesn't stop, it doesn't rest, it doesn't end. Help.

Oooh yes. I need Ramuh music in my house.

Ho yeah a jukebox would be extremly cool! And i like the idea of having to get the CD's on primals, raids, etc... I'd farm the hell out of Titan, Phénix, Bahamuth, Bismarck and The Manipulator to get their CD!
Ye, would be pretty fun to do that.
I hope when warring triad drops, they have ff6 music as well, that would be my jam.
