Can confirm it is ongoing here as well. All trace routes point to level3 still being pummeled during prime time. No amount of complaining to AT&T has had any effect except that they replaced my modem for the third time...

A large number of players from certain territories have been reporting that they have been experiencing packet loss when connecting to the game using certain internet service providers. The investigation into this issue has been our highest priority and, with support from the relevant network company, the connection path to the European data center has been re-routed, as an interim measure, to address critical packet loss.

Although connection speeds to the European data center have improved, there is a possibility that your connection route to the European data center may differ depending on your country of residence or your ISP. Therefore, you may experience some changes to latency even if your packet loss has been improved due to the aforementioned measures that have been taken.

We are continuing to monitor players’ connection speeds but if you continue to experience gameplay issues we ask that you file detailed reports using the designated template.

Your feedback can provide us with essential information and the details you provide in the report template are invaluable. We understand that it takes time to file a report but it would be much appreciated if you could provide all of the necessary information outlined in the template.

Can we please get a similar resolution for the North American Data Center? The problems detailed in this thread are still on-going.

Still in horrible shape over on Cactuar as well. It has gotten to the point where I can no longer tank dungeons or do raids due to the packet loss causing me to miss mechanics. I will not be renewing my subscription until it is fixed.

24 days later.. still going on, still the same horrible lag, and still only with this game at the same silly hops.

My pings are normal but keep getting lag spikes every 5 minutes or so. I can input my character actions (move, attacks) but cannot receive data from the game so everything freezes on my screen for 3-4 seconds.

not only on Balmung but on Duty server too.

And still no issues here from South Carolina via TATA. (other then the odd micro stutter once in a while that often happens with online games, but nowhere near game breaking)
