Lag spikes on Moogle EU since the new datacenter turned on.

Hey there.

I logged in tonigtht to go for Alexander with my mates but I very quickly noticed huge lag spikes as soon as we got in the Duty. Most spikes were like 1-3 seconds long but one was particularly long (15 sec). I thought I was gonna get disconnected but it just let me play with more very frequent 1-3 sec spikes.

I looked for the server IP and ran a pint -t which confirmed the packet loss :

I am connecting from Toulouse/FRANCE with Orange ISP. I got a 500/250 fiber connection which runs perfectly well. I hope the support will be able to make use of all the people informations to try and sort this out as it is very painful to play through that much lag. When you get a spike every 10 sec it drives you mad.

The reported problems appear to be amongst the peering partners of people's ISP's--out of SE's hands to address. Your ISP's tier3 support should be able to properly investigate and escalate as needed to affect changes. But you need specifically their tier3 team (sometimes called engineering),,and they need a valid IP within the proper subnet for testing. They can use the registered name for the Chaos lobby:

Oh thanks I didn't check french forums.

Anyway, WTFast VPN easily solved the bad routing issue. Made 3 Alex runs this morning without a single packet loss.
