I have an idea for a PvP scenario that isn't tied to the GCs.
Lore: The Adventure's Guild wants to repossess some abandoned Houses, but they cannot due to the people being evicted joining with some bandits and killing anyone that tries to take the house. Realizing exactly who lives there they hire some sellswords to both take care of the Bandits and repossess the abandoned houses in the promise of helping aid the homeless. But some sellswords throw their lot in with the bandits in a bid to protect their home, and the Garlond Ironworks brand security systems they installed 45 days ago had been compromised by these Bandits.

Role: 3 groups of 8 players have to destroy old houses, kill bandits, kill or evict the original owner of these abandoned homes whoa re leading the bandits. 3 more groups are the Bandits, and their goal is to kill the Evictors and aid their boss (the original owners of the abandoned plots),

The Bandits side will play like a Tower Defense Game, setting up Aetheric choke points to direct the opponent into traps and ore strategic points using the surrounding Aether. The Objective is to keep the house intact.

The Repossessors play more like traditional PvP but with the element of breaking through these defenses. Thier goal is to tae the Furniture and then demolish the house the same way they demolish Garlean Collousi.

Helping both sides will be several Allagin inspired security nodes codenamed GDS, these nodes will trigger various events such as Tornadoes like in Neverreap, Raising Walls to Break, making the ground slippery have added effect (usually detrimental) and outright fighting alongside the peopel who activated it. A specific Nod can even demolish the house one one fell swoop, but its very rare and very fragile.

And unlike the other PvP modes, there will be 3 Arenas
  • The Goblet: The hardest arena for Evictors, because the bandits naturally bribed the Brass Blades for assistance and the Evictors have to fight Syndicate-induced Red Tape as well.
  • Mist: Neutral ground, in that neither side has an advantage. However the Serpent Reavers see this as an opportunity to strike at Limsa Lominsa and try to take the house for themselves, causing both side a problem that must be dealt with
  • Lavender Beds: Hardest Arena for bandits, because the elementals naturally has a say on who gets to Live in Gridania and their reinforcements, The Coeurlclaw Poachers and Redbellies, would be walled by natural barriers. This is different in that the aid to the Evictors would be more subtle

Rewards include:
  • Some of the mats needed to make rare furniture
  • Skybear mount as an achievement item
So what do you think of this suggestion?
slash joke

And no. Evictors winning a match would not cause an actual in game house to be demolished/repossessed
