Lag Reduction Suggestions / Chat request

Just a few personal suggestions I think could help players on lower-end computers (I also like to log onto my laptop in between classes, and these would make the experience more enjoyable).

An option to turn off rendering of the looks of other player's outfits (just put them in some default robe).

An option to turn off rendering of other players completely. (make this so you can apply it to anyone not in party as well)

If possible, make it so the above 2 don't even send the network data for characters / their outfits so mobile connections are easier.

An option to fall back to pre-rendered lighting (no day/night change, no dynamic shadows, just one mesh of pre-rendered lighting for an area).

An option to turn animations off (only keep aoe circles)

Some context: when I'm at home, playing on my desktop or console, everything is perfectly fine, but sometimes I want to check in during the day to see how everyone is doing (I lead a raid group, and support an FC) and that is limited to whether I logged off in an area with few enough players for me to actually be able to control my player on my laptop while on a mobile connection. Surely I can't be the only person this applies to?

Another option / suggestion would be:
Some form of chat hook for android / PC over irc to talk to link-shells / FC chat / etc. I have no idea how you coded your chat, so I don't know whether this is possible in FFXIV.
