In 1.0 There were a set of twelve rings with the insignia of one of the 12 on them, I was wondering what they were for and if these rings can return or not (the latter is likely if its tied to a Legacy thing)

At the end of 1.0, we went on a pilgrimage to all of the signa of the Twelve to pray to them to save us from Dalamud falling, very similar to the one you do when you get married now
At the signum of your chosen deity, you got their ring, basically as a sign that they are there for you.
Lorewise, those prayers were what allowed Louisoix to summon the cagelike structure in the opening movie of ARR, that he tries to use to cage Bahamut in again.
Big fan of the idea to have more beautiful rings like this for glamours. Very excellent idea to bring them into Heavensward.
Idk, I think these should stay exclusive to the legacy players that earned them, but I love the idea of more fun rings to use for glam.

Honestly, I wouldn't be fine with that.
There are not many things I mind, seasonal event stuff from 1.0 and everything, sure, take it
But these rings aren't just a nice gimmick, they are deeply tied to the storyline we experienced and I wouldn't want just everyone to have them or see their meaning become trivial by them being on the cash shop or in some new event.
