Most of AST action name refer from astrology and astronomy. Dev matching those action with real world definition seamlessly. That means they have a lot of research before naming it. I like it so much when I searching for their reference. However, don't forget Sharlayan Astrologian in this game use Astromancy nor Astrology in real world even if they borrow astrology word for their spell. This is all I have found.
- Benefic - the planet that considered to be very positive influence. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benefic_planet)
- Malefic - the planet that thought to bring bad luck and misfortune. I think they wisely to use Benefic and Malefic opposition for naming main heaing and attacing spell. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malefic_planet)
- Combust - the planet that invisible for a period between 24 and 30 days each year due to its proximity to the sun. Traditionally this is a serious debility and implies that the planet is weakened or restricted in power. This is match with DoT nature of Combust spell. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/combust) (http://www.skyscript.co.uk/gl/combust.html)
- Luminiferous aether - light-bearing aether, was the postulated medium for the propagation of light. It was invoked to explain the ability of the apparently wave-based light to propagate through empty space, something that waves should not be able to do. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luminiferous_aether)
- Helios - personification of the Sun in Greek mythology. He is brother of the goddesses Selene, the moon, and Eos, the dawn. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helios)
- Ascendant - the zodiacal sign and degree that was ascending on the eastern horizon at the specific time and location of an event. According to astrological theory, celestial phenomena reflect or determine human activity on the principle of 'as above so below'. Thus astrologers believe that the ascendant signifies a person's awakening consciousness, in the same way that the Sun's appearance on the eastern horizon signifies the dawn of a new day. This is perfect match with in-game resurrection spell. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascendant)
- Essential dignity - the relative strength or weakness of a planet or point's zodiac position by sign and degree. This match with Essential dignity's scaled potency from Targeted HP. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_dignity)
- (Exalted) Detriment - a celestial body is said to be in detriment, or exile, when it is positioned in the zodiac sign opposite the sign it rules (over which it has domicile). When a celestial body is in detriment it is said to be not comfortable in that sign and to tend to operate with the least strength. And they choose this word wisely for detrimental effect removal spell. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detriment_%28astrology%29)
- Stellar (Stella) - consisting of stars. This refer to combine of star in stella spell animation.
- Sect - an ancient astrological concept in which the seven traditional "planets" (including the Sun, the Moon and the five starry planets) are assigned to two different categories: diurnal or nocturnal sect. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrology_of_sect)
- Diurnal - planets are more comfortable and powerful when they appear in charts in which the Sun is above the horizon. That's refer to the sun in icon and in-game explanation.
- Nocturnal - planets are more comfortable and powerful when they appear in charts in which the Sun is below the horizon, or at night. That's refer to the moon in icon and in-game explanation.
- Aspect (Benefic/Helios) - An angle the planets make to each other in the horoscope, and also to the ascendant, midheaven, descendant, lower midheaven, and other points of astrological interest. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrological_aspect)
- (Celestial) Opposition - is a type of aspect. An opposition is an angle of 180° (1/2 of the 360° ecliptic). An orb of somewhere between 5° and 10° is usually allowed. Oppositions are said to be the second most powerful aspect. It resembles the conjunction although the difference between them is that the opposition causes exaggeration as it is not unifying like the conjunction but instead exalted. It's good to use this for last ability of AST. But in term of powerful, I think no for stun and more 5 sec buff duration. lol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrol...ect#Opposition)
- Royal Road - an easy or direct way of achieving a desired end. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/royal+road)
- Synastry - the art of relationship Astrology. It is a fascinating and illuminating study of how individuals interact with one another. This perfect match with given quest and ability's mechanic. (http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/synastry.html)
- Time dilation - a difference of elapsed time between two events as measured by observers either moving relative to each other or differently situated from a gravitational mass or masses. I'm very surprise when found this word definition and think about Time dilation effect. Who is the first person to choose this word for Time dilation ability. lol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dilation)
- Collective Unconscious - in Jungian psychological theory, it's a part of the unconscious mind incorporating patterns of memories, instincts, and experiences common to all mankind. These patterns are inherited, may be arranged into archetypes, and are observable through their effects on dreams, behavior, etc. It has relative with the study of astrology. It's good to use this refer to one of the most powerful ability of AST and better match when they improve ability's effect. Moreover, it relate to in-game explanation too. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/col...ve_unconscious)
Weapon type name
AST's weapon type refer name from real world astronomy and astrology tools too. I'm very impressive for Dev team when searching about this.
- Star globe - A celestial sphere can also refer to a physical model of the celestial sphere or celestial globe. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celestial_sphere)
- Astrometer - An instrument designed to measure the brightness, relation, or apparent magnitude of stars.

But I think base model of star globe in this game come from this Astrolabe. Their shape and usability are resemble to unsheathe AST's star globe. However, this word use for name THM's staff already.
- Astrolabe - An elaborate inclinometer, historically used by astronomers, navigators, and astrologers. Its many uses include locating and predicting the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars, determining local time given local latitude and vice versa, surveying, and triangulation.
