More long coats. What's the deal with it always being robes or long coats? Hopefully it can be dyed, but the DRG looks fantastic as-is.

Too feminine-looking for me, especially the guy in red.. but hey, if I think back in the older times, even men looked that way.. The one on the lala is pretty much better looking so far.

is that taken from the Renaissance?

I'm not asking for Cargo pants, Jeans and the like.. but.. something else than this, can't pinpoint it.

I might try them on my character, especially if that gear is iLvl200+ sigh.. glamour, here I come! ^^

Considering a few recent topics of people begging for cross dressing options that may actually make the small minority that wants it smile a little

eh? Cross-dressing? If that's to your like. but it's not mine.

small minority? since the beginning of 2.0 (when I began to play FFXIV) the clothing for male has been more of the androgenous style. the girls stuff? can't complain here, everything fits.

if you were to put commas into your sentence that would make it easier to read by the way.

everyone begs in this game for what they want.

so if i'm the only one that request more manly clothes, then is being 1 a small enough minority for you?

    here's the smile

*ask someone else put it, if the red one would be to announce a Red Mage Class, then I'll accept it for sure! ^^

Eh... dont like them. Cant even tell which is for which class. I understand if they want to stick to a theme for this release but they look more like alternate MCH costumes than different sets of heavy, medium and light armor.

those simple limitation works in other games, but not with the XIV gear setting.

    Example:

It look like light armor (cloth), that would be mage gear in other games, but in XIV it is DPS gear.

Ugh... Excitement for new gear has passed, and bitter resentment of the needlessly limited Glamour system has resurfaced...

Can 3.1 please address how utterly rubbish the Glamour system is? I think I recall mention of being able to cast Glamours using gear from Retainers/etc., and that's absolutely great, but the biggest problem is still the stupid Glamour Prisms themselves... I want to be able to change Glamour on the fly, but seeing as I'd need various different types and tiers of Prisms, that simply isn't possible. Not without clogging my inventory up with stacks of what, 36 different Prisms? Plus the gear currently... Granted some are largely unused, but I certainly don't appreciate having to figure out which Prisms I need to get on top of everything... I want to change Glamour on the fly, if I want to switch between, off the top of my head, Asuran, AF, AF2, several random dungeon sets, PvP gear, High Allagan, and so on (and that isn't accounting for various seasonal sets), plus now these sets, I don't want to have to sit down and figure out what I need to do that, I want to just switch my Glamour to that set. Is that too much to ask?

If I walk into Coerthas Western Highlands, I want to just slap on my Glacial Coat. If I then go to Costa de Sol, I want to just slap on beach wear. If I then enter Alexander, I want to switch to actual armor. That is what a Glamour system should allow, but more importantly it should allow that without causing the player so much of a damned headache... Seriously, can we just have Glamour Prisms, and Glamour Dispellers? There is no reason to have 35 different types of Prisms... It just needlessly inhibits the whole point of such a system... Perhaps still keep the tiers, although given the crafting materials that go into the tiers are identical, that seems fairly stupid, but have it work like Dark Matter and gear repairs; Grade 6 Dark Matter can be used to repair gear that only needs Grade 1 Dark Matter. If Prisms have to have have tiers, they should function the same way... By all means, keep some cost for casting Glamours, just don't make it so damned taxing on an already limited inventory... Glamour Prisms should be virtually identical to Dark Matter; I only carry around a single stack of Grade 6 Dark Matter for repairs. Not 6 stacks of each tier. Not a further 7 of each of those stacks for each craft (minus Culinarian). I would gladly pay through the nose for a stack of Grade 6 Glamour Prisms, or some kind of Omniprism, plus a stack of Glamour Dispellers, and have that cover all my Glamour needs, the same way a stack of Grade 6 Dark Matter covers all my repair needs.
