How to deal with noobs/ignorance (secure/slaughter in particular)

Just 30 mins ago I probably had the worst secure fight in human history. Not according to score, but ignorance. About 1-2 mins before the "tower" popped in mid, I told everyone in chat to come mid ("ALL mid now please!"). The regular drones popped but there was still 1 @op. That's ok, no worries. But after the drones this 1 guy in chat said "BACK!", just like the 2 previous drone waves. On the 1st 2 waves it's ok, no worries.

But this was the 3rd wave: I responded "No STAY mid, tower soon". Peeps got confused. Some went back some stayed. The same guy was persistent blabbering something about we were under attack. I told them something "screw op, tower soon. 200pts".

All this resulted in the entire team staying at op for the rest of the match no matter how much I begged them to come mid.

In the end I was the big dumb idiot according to chat lmao. It left a sour taste.

It's unfortunate, but the prevailing opinion in Secure/Slaughter matches now is that they don't matter at all. It seems that the majority of the people queuing for it are brand new to PVP, just want to dip their toes in and check it out, and don't care about winning or strategy at all. The next most common are the PVP vets who came in via Roulette and don't want to wrangle cats to make their team even somewhat competitive. And finally you've got the PVP vets who came in via Roulette and immediately exit when they realize they didn't get into Seize.

I have had good Secure/Slaughter matches since Seize was introduced, but they are few and far between. It sucks, but it will remain like that until they stop making those modes a punishment for PVP veterans.

It's fine to play with noobs, I don't mind. All need to start sometime. The problem is when noobs try and act experienced. If you try and explain anything you may come off as a total dick when trying to reason with "experienced" players. As in my example. I guess the guy/gal had some experience, but shouting "BACK!" as the big node is about to pop shows some ignorance.

I don't even ask people not to Limit Break in Secure anymore because I swear there's always this one guy in every party that does it just for spite. I'm not even exaggerating, there was this one time I spammed something along the lines of:
"Limit Break is not individual. Please save it for the Node" 5-6 times before then apologising and explaining that I was merely playing it safe because there always seems to be one person that insists on wasting it. What happens shortly before the node spawns? The one tank guarding the OP uses his Break to try and keep himself alive for a second or two longer(apparently) while only left with a sliver of health left - in a 1v1 situation. Granted that particular example was a long while ago, but it still happens in almost every Secure match to this day.

Not surprisingly, every single person that has ever done this is also one of those mutes that never says a word all match. I'd forgive anyone that apologised in a heartbeat, but they are all the same.

I actually forgot about the final node (so little Secure experience) and used a LB very shortly before it spawned the other day. I think it went well anyways since Mael were running about trying to take other team's outposts and I used the LB to kill an Adder WHM before mowing down the rest of their team, leaving almost nothing but flames in mid. Thinking back I'm not even sure if I should have saved it since clearing out the other teams may have been more beneficial, though certainly not without risk.
