    Perhaps the party could stay "in combat" between each round, making the group conserve their resources from one battle to the next. It could award a unique consumable after each round to breathe a bit more MP/TP to the party so they don't starve after multiple rounds.

    Or, it could use a cumulative roulette of buffs/debuffs like FFVII's arena to wear down the party, although not everyone is receptive to RNG, especially when it's deciding the punishment for your next round!

    That might be really interesting. Make it more of an arena style where the party doesnt actually move from one battle to the next but, after they defeat a boss, theres a 15 sec rest (in battle mode) and the next boss spawns

    Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking too. Call it something like...Boss Gauntlet? Basically just chaining boss after boss with minimal rest time in between(and the rest time could be reduced as you go further). Eventually you'll die of course, but the goal is to kill as many as you can before dying, and then get rewarded the more bosses you kill. Something like that could be pretty cool.
