    Question on healing in Savage

So, recently I was able to pretty much revive my static and have been running A1S again for the first time in weeks. Albeit it's been a bit of a relearning experience on my part, which is fine considering a couple of people were new to savage. Anyway, down to the issue we've been having. We run AST/WHM as our healers, unfortunately they keep running almost completely out on MP by first jump because we don't have a BRD/MCH. I've seen runs where the group had neither as well, but the healers had about half to a third of their MP left. Any advice is appreciated!

Besides the obvious advice of use less cure/benefic IIs and less aoe spells? Let medica/aspected helios ii regens do most of your party healing. Our group usually designates the healers to a half of the room much like the dps and tanks. This basically gives each of you 4 targets to worry about healing (mostly, you may need to help heal the other healer occasionally with prey). Besides the obvious benefit of having less people to worry about, you're also less likely to miss dps with your aoe heals so you aren't stuck shooting 2-3 cure iis out for each double prey.

Always remember the entire fight is not reactional, it is procedural. Don't split the party into groups. AOE heal during the big hits and let the regens (Medica 2/Aspected Helios [if AST is Diurnal]) do it's work with slight touch ups as needed (a Cure or Benefic here or there). Always remember to use Luminiferous Aether and Shroud of Saints as necessary. (Utilize during jumps especially!)
Stack up on HQ X-Ethers too. They don't do a whole lot, but the extra 240MP DOES make a difference. Use food with piety.

For WHM during prey, I'd suggest Swiftcast Stoneskin, Regen, Cure as needed on prey target.
For AST during prey, I'd suggest Synastry (with tank), Swiftcast Stoneskin, Aspected Benefic and Benefic as needed.
