Well... I'm one of those who'd love to see more female-only gear made unisex (with certain minor edits to fit body types, similar to adding bra or cleavage on some unisex gear when worn by female characters), but I also have to point out that the thavnairian bustier hardly counts as 'masculine'.
This thread is complete nonsense. Why, look at how well thought out this year's holiday outfit is. They clearly have men in mind for it.

I want to see some bad ass armor being made, something where your friends or new people go whoa, that is some really cool gear your wearing where did you get that.
I used to do that in FFXI because usually they would do something I wouldn't know about like a NM or sky god and I would be impressed but its not like that anymore.
this is my final thought on subject so i'll just....

I feel with you all. I'm a Highlander Male. Playing mostly Bard in 1.0 and 2.0 and Machinist in 3.0 and Its so freaking hard to find a glamour that doen't look girly.
In 2.0 I stiked with one and the same glamour over all updates and never changed it because there was nothing fitting for a Highlander.
When I think of manly gear in a fantasy game I think of stuff like this
fun part is a there is a girl in it.
Much of the gear for males in game looks like something one would wear to a gay pride parade. Nothing against those parades... they look fun... however taking one of those guys and dropping them in the middle of a battlefield is very strange.
Also if there was more options there is a small chance I will have to see less tanks running around in their boxers tanking trial bosses. That is how you kill immersion right there.

What I want in terms of "masculine" gear is something that isn't a girly robe/dress/skirt and not underwear or speedos.
All I've been seeing for "masculine" gear in this thread is underwear lol.
Do you want all of the new gear to be underwear/thongs/speedos with a strap as a chest piece for all new gear?![]()
