Just one word for this: FABULOUS.
Though I do seem to notice SE really likes to give the female gender lots of choice in terms of glamour compared to man. Not everyone likes to glamour a bikini especially if a guy will look like a stripper in it lol
IN FAT CHOCOBO WE TRUST
Completely agreed. Male characters need more masculinity such as more facial hair and maybe body hair.
Clothing has no gender. They are man-made. No one is born wearing clothes. The idea that certain clothes are for a certain gender is a societal construct, aka a brainwashing from a young age. There are many, and I mean many, little boys and girls that like things that one may associate with the opposite gender, and this is because no one is born with that mindset until it is taught. It's only from their surroundings and what parents teach them that they get brainwashed into thinking they have to wear certain style/types of clothes, Basically, no male is born inherently attracted to specific kinds of clothes, toys, etc. Same for girls. It's all brainwashing and conformity. As long as the clothing fits right, all clothing is truly unisex. It's that brainwashing and conformity from a young age that make you feel different. Girls aren't born wearing pink, or with flowers on their body, just like boys are not born wearing blue, or holding a wielding torch.
If you look back in history, there are many eras wear men wore dresses, high heels, etc. In fact men spent most of human history wearing dresses and skirts. It was only in the last so and so centuries that pants became a thing. And even in the 1800s when pants were a thing, young boys would still be put in dresses. High heels wear actually considered for men at one point and invented for men, specifically for soldiers as the heel allowed better grip on the saddle stirrups. Blue use to be considered a feminine color, while pink masculine. Why does it keep changing? Because none of that actually has a gender in the first place. It just depends on the the brainwashing of society/culture going around in specific eras in time. And color is simply a distribution of light through various wavelengths. It is not associated with biology/gender at all. That's a man-made idea.
There's an entire movement of straight men out there that prefer so-called feminine clothing and wear it every day, and some are even married. They find the selection to be much better, more varied, and more comfortable than the stereotypical so-called masculine clothes. It's those guys that are truly intelligent and can see beyond society's stupidity and bs. And I applaud them. When it comes down to it, clothes are just clothes. There are no male clothes or female clothes, only the fit. In example some dresses have built in cups or underwire for breast support. These dresses would not look right on a male because they don't have breasts to fill them out. Many dresses do not have this and would fit fine.

Cool, that's great. But I'd like clothing that's not so feminine. Is that allowed? Or are we only supposed to have feminine clothing because 'everything is unisex' or 'there's a movement of straight men who like feminine clothing'?Clothing has no gender. They are man-made. At least be consistent.
To be fair, the OP isn't asking these options being taken away, so much as options for traditionally masculine clothing be expended. Frankly, I think that's reasonable. It could technically be unisex, but without the flamboyancy. Take for example, well, Vincent Valentine. He looks pretty damn sharp without being eccentric.
Personally i would prefer a set per gender everyone doesn't want to be "fabulous" >.>'
SE just looks lazy about it.
Tons of ways to make masculine glamours
