Well you gotta consider the time investment for these things lol. I'm fairly sure that a lot of players really don't care much for actual RL styles, but rather a fantasy rendition of it. This sort of thing takes time to make, and they still have to make designs for clothing outside of modern day RL professional and casual wears. Maybe it's just me, but I think we get more than enough of designer looks for that in media IRL lol. The occasional is perfectly fine to me, but I'd prefer the focus to be on the fantasy element, rather than a modern interpretation of RL.

If this were Japan, I'd feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of hipster teens trying to look snazzy wearing clothes that cost so much that they can't even afford daily living necessities. The sad part is... that would actually be true for an overwhelming number of them.

I'm fairly certain many people would like RL styles. Lots of people been asking for schoolgirl/boy outfits, for example. They can mix and match it with the other outfits to give it a fantasy feel too, if they wanted. But yes, either way, even if it's once in a blue moon(occasional), I'd like to see more styles like I listed.

In the case of the school gir/boy outfits, those are (as an adult/teenager) often tied to fantasy bearings. Like you want your character to resemble your favorite anime character, or more often in the case of school girl than boy, tied to some sexual attraction (which is not a statement to demean, just of reality). I mean, Halloween is coming up and uhh... I think you can take a guess how many school girl outfits will be worn at any given popular club. We do actually have the school girl set up being possible already though, with the sailor body and a skirt. Unless folks are wanting something more revealing, then I'm sure folks can use their imaginations on what else to use. Technically, you could also attribute certain vest gear and pants to be school boy outfits... unless you're looking for toddler-ish looks...

Something to bear in mind is that we actually do see semi-modern clothing come up from time to time already. Heck, the Gamblers coat could be associated to RL clothing, depending on how it is used. So we do get them once in a while, and there really are a lot of them out there pertaining to RL. The special glamour purpose stuff, like that or the wedding attire, have to cater to a wide array of players and what might be a greater want than others (or just a personal want from the devs), so we do see them every so often. It just may not be what we (individually) want specifically lol.

Agreed, more of that stuff would work. A trenchcoat. A flannel shirt, a pair of straight up jeans, and a good pair of Timberland style boots are also things I think the OP is trying to get at. Problem is, those aren't that fantasy-ish.

Can we maybe get one of Aragorn's outfits from LotR? The man oozes masculinity from every pore.

Yep. But, either way, schoolgirl outfits are still "RL".

We do get semi-modern outfits sometimes. But very, very few are simple and masculine. If the gamblers outfit didn't have a random spike on it's shoulder and so much patterns it might be something I'd wear. And yeah, it's not always what we individually want. I'm asking for what I want and hoping, maybe, it'll be heard. So is the OP, but for some reason when people ask for masculine gear some people put their heckles up and get offended.

i dont think op specifically wants modern clothes. op just wants clothes that have a masculine feel to them. you could make a trenchcoat that feels fantasy-like by making it out of more fantasy-oriented materials and maybe adding some armor to it. maybe not a flannel shirt, but a shirt that's loose-fitting and casual. maybe not jeans. and the game is already fine on boots.

i agree that an aragorn type outfit would be great. something that feels like adventuring gear. something that feels practical. maybe clothes that look comfortable. clothes that DON'T look like they're made by a fashion designer.

Guys wearing female clothing no thanks.

dresses no, panties no, bathing suits no. bra NO

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

IF you wanna wear a kilt I don't care but other than those up above I wrote down hell no.

Make a female character you get guys and girls stuff. Problem solved.

Guy characters aren't meant to wear that stuff and this isn't real life its a MMO SE's world of fantasy their vision and don't change it because you want to do something awkward and you know what I mean aka nasty stuff, so don't compare drag in gaming don't bring up cloud dressing up like one and detective quest doing it.

Both were meant to be funny and they didn't do it through whole game.

I think the game is just fine the way they have been going, its nothing against anyone if that's who you are that's cool have fun with it but don't force that upon the ones who don't want it.
