    New DC - new problems

    Hi
    After DC moved to Germany which is waaay closer to my location (I am from Poland) I started having connection issues. Its dropping like hell, so its even worse than when server was in Canada. Just a screenshot of whats going on.



    Do other ppl also have similar issues? Is it fixable?
    Before, it may be a bit laggy but at least it was stable.

    They literally just moved it, so it might take a few days for all the routes to update on the networks in europe.

    Hello,
    not sure what provider do you have, but it is always kinda wise to call them, dicuss it with them and tell them where your target server is located.
    My provider is kinda friendly and is always able to forward me a few ports and stuff to make stuff better from me.

    To your question: I have been online for 5 hours and haven't encountered any problems so far, I am going to raid tonight so I will see.
    19ms average, no packets lost.

    I just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one who's experiencing this problem. One of my brothers plays on Cerberus and is currently facing the same issue. When i ping the IP Address from Cerberus (195.82.50.48) from the Netherlands, i'm experiencing the same timeout as you are.

    Personally, i wouldn't be surprised if SE is closely monitoring the connections with the Datacenter and might issue an emergency maintenance later on (Even though i'm only reading positive feedback on the forums since the servers are up).

    I haven't gotten any timeouts while pinging Shiva a few hours ago. I did get them (as well as 500ms+ spikes) while pinging Gilgamesh though and that was very visible and could be felt very much in-game too.

    I have been getting weird lag almost crashing spikes since the day they were starting the data transfer and maintenance and I'm on Siren.

    1) Try to find out where it fails by running a tracert to the server. It might be closer to your location = the fault of your ISP.
    2) Try using WTFast, it might fix your issue if it is routing related.

    Uh... Well test where the stuff is breaking with the first suggestion, if it is breaking before it gets to Frankfurt, it's likely your ISP - try to contact them.
    If it isn't your ISP, provide as much info as you can to SE support http://support.eu.square-enix.com/co...p?id=5383&la=2
