He suggests what the proper thing should have been. All transfers back and forth to the server should have been free. The NA players that want to leave can leave for free but the server was implemented for EU players...and they have to pay to go onto the server?? >_>

It literally makes no sense. The server and the possible issues that could have arisen from a new location/ping issues should have just made them have it free for everyone. Now, it's a matter of EU players having to pay for what should have been theirs from the beginning.

Well NA players get higher ping and so the quality of service decreased.

While EU players who play on American servers keep the same quality of service.

I know that it sucks, but that's the explanation.

Yeah, I don't attend parties, so no worries, thank you. ^^ But indeed, Ophie hit the nail on the head - they did the free transfers, it should have been two-way, because as it is, it's just not fair. Yes, EU players on other servers retain the same quality - but at the same time, there's much better quality option available for them. A much better option, in fact, practically my ping to Shiva now is a quarter of my ping to Gilgamesh:

...so there. And no, I don't want to transfer, I've friends on Gilgamesh I don't want to leave, so that's not why I'm "bitter" about the issue. It's the core principle that I find offending.

i think transfer should be free to and from choas so people can go to their respected side that they wish.

Personally though I'm east coast american playing on a jp data center on the ps3... outside the typical ps3 load lag I have had no issue playing the game, can even avoid titan extreme landslides.

so............. >.>;; again notr against it but it shoulda been a 2 way street, just because EU on NA servers don't change they only picked what they could.

1) we never had data center set up 1.0 everything was in japan. 2.0 everything was mashed together you could pick group jp, or group NA with (EU) as a tag.

2) launch of 2.0 was hectic from digital download bugs, to mass influx that not even SE prepaired for. So pe9ople when to where they could.

3) free server transfers fir 1.0 players was limited to legacy servers which EU only had a handful.

4) this was asked for a long time and no answer was given a "we will look into it" was given untill heavensward.
