I was in an abyssea alliance, and I accidently said in party chat

I literally died, cos the comment I got back was hilarious

A lot of the posts of people complaining are meant for FC/LS, and I even see it happen myself. I don't DF enough for it to matter, the only DFing I do is PvP.

I think... maybe when you mean something like that, you should be vague and say "people" instead of using "you". Quoting someone and saying you gives the impression you're talking directly to them (I know that's what I think, anyway).

I mean, I know I say mean things sometimes. But I thought I was behaving in this thread. :P So I was pretty confused by the remark.

English isn't my native language and I once learned that a general "you" is used when talking about an undefined person or group of people too, but it always kind of troubled me how easy it can get misunderstood u.u

I was in a hunt party once in the churning mists. A hunt had just been called there so naturally we flocked there everything was normal until someone mt a ERP in shout... This was back when hunts were still a thing so a lot of people saw that. Felt sorry for the guy he was super embarrassed.

One of my favourite MTs was a friends.We had just got the level three wheel for the house and me and the guy that had crafted the parts were discussing how it had room for three charges in tells. So when I told him it was built for three he replied "Ahhh a menage a trio?" but mted this to another FC member in tells. Instead of just saying "Oh gawd MT" he says "Oh gawd MT that was meant for Gami" ... took a little explaining!

Another time we were one short in our static for our first T6 clear so we took a pick up in. We were in the later stages of training and had asked for someone who at least knew the basics. Turns out the pick up didn't but we carried on for about an hour. At this point we were all pretty much in agreement that we would drop and another FC member had shown up and was willing to jump in so we wanted to ditch this guy. My friend said in FC chat "Shall we tell him this is our /airquotes "Last try"?" ...
