DPS Double Standard

Here are my two opinions on the matter of healer DPS.

1. I always try to DPS whenever I can by CHOICE. Usually just in dungeons, but I also throw in some DPS in PVP, raids and primals because I enjoy it. I cannot stand when healers stand around doing nothing when there's no healing to be done.

2. However, on the flip side, I'm getting really sick and tired of being FORCED to DPS because of the fact that DPS aren't doing their job up to par. DPS as a healer should be my choice, not a requirement because of someone else's lack of skill.
