I know that we have Diadem for the hunting and gathering aspect for large scale content, but I had an idea one night before going to sleep.

I was thinking that with all Normal Mode dungeons (NOT including Hard Mode, but it could work either way), our characters would be able to enter one of the dungeons available (we could have parties of people, if it could work) at one of the required levels (like how Sastasha's required level being 15) for accessing these said dungeons at that level.

Some dungeons like Haukke Manner could or could not have a gathering aspect to them (I'd find it funny going in there as a Botanist and chopping furniture to get wood), but Brayflox is a very good example. There can be enemies in it, but you would have to sneak past them with using stealth. There would be a time limit if you wish to go to the very end (say the end of Brayflox, you call on Cid with a linkpearl and he comes to pick you up, thus completing the dungeon). The mini-bosses would be replaced with a session of clearing out obstacles that would yield rare items (for Miner it would be rocks, and Botanist would be lush vegetation). If the time limit runs out, you wouldn't fail the gathering dungeon run; it would end just like Diadem. I wasn't thinking that there would be any lockout time limits. You could also switch between classes in the dungeon if need be, but ONLY to your gathering classes. I think items obtained could be put into a separate item compartment slot, and those items would be transferred to your own spoils safe somewhere in the city-states (it could act like the safe for FC, but only you could access it).

What does everyone else think? Do you think something like this could actually end up working?
