    I agree with many points, but the main thing I want fixed is the queues. The randomness of getting in a match is upsetting(one person waiting 15 minutes while the other an hour.)

    Also recently I had four people in a team, we waited over 60 minutes+(queue and un-queuing a few times as well) for Seal Rock(siege) before giving up. We broke up, I solo queue'd and pretty much got an instant pop. Not in-progress either. PvP queue is so messed up.

    It doesn't matter how much they change pvp, imo the main problem is the queue. In order to fully enjoy the experience queue's need to be fixed first.

    [EDIT] I love healing and I love PvP, so naturally I like doing them together. I am the one who raises you when you dive in without me, I am the one who CCs for your LBs, I'm the one who slows the stragglers for your kills, I'm the one who is constantly fighting to keep you alive. And what do I get as a reward? "Were r my healz?" ...And sometimes wins. Sometimes I get wins for my hard work.

    [EDIT2] If us healers ever get a PvP title, I think it should be "Guardian Angel"... or "God of Mercy" to totally outdo the Hand of Mercy title in bad-assness. \o/

    There was no PvP therefore logically no one started playing ARR for PvP,
    PvP was not suitable for this game and why implementing this full of failure PvP system?

    Based on what has been previously mentioned before, Patch 3.2 will address many of the issues you mentioned. With the implementation of Wolves' Den 2.0 (in order of the issues you listed)...

    ...PvP gear might be activated in the new Wolves' Den, thus Materia will work on the new gear.

    ...this will also force Morale to have some kind of purpose. Otherwise, should just be taken out entirely.

    ...they mentioned the possibility of removing grand company restrictions.

    ...the removal of grand company restrictions *might* in turn fix the messed up queue system, or at least part of it.

    ...the "7/8" symptom I can see making it's way back into 3.2 unfortunately, due to the fact that if we're going to have ranked matches, the system will make sure it's fair for both teams to have all their players. However, if Wolves' Den popularity increases, perhaps it might not be a big issue, since the queue should in theory re-pop again.

    ...the "Join in Progress" is almost needed, or else the match will have a team potentially short half their players. However, as mentioned before, with the removal of grand company restriction, it's likely you won't be waiting 2-3 hours for a game to pop.

    ...I agree. Achievements for Healers is something that I don't see being addressed anywhere and could use some additions.

    ...I think SE recognizes that slaughter was a mistake, however, I have seen melee still being a crucial aspect to winning Seal Rock. It's true you'll see ranged, in particular Summoners, at the top of the damage, but damage is not always the key to victory in these big team battles. However, I think the addition of smaller sized maps/modes would allow different classes/roles to shine, (ex. CTF and tanks shining)

    ...I don't really understand your "holy trinity" argument here. Healers are naturally focused in most MMORPG PvP games, and when healers choose to heal in PvP, they should understand that. Tanks aren't soaking up damage in PvP for everyone, but they are sure as hell reducing damage for everyone on their team with their interrupts, covers, limit breaks etc. Roles also change depending on game mode type. If a CTF were introduced, then you might see tanks holding flags and being the focus of all damage again.

    ...I agree. I think tomes in PvP Roulette is something that could use adjusting to reduce the amount of players who do not want to try at all.

    ...I agree. Perhaps these vote to kick numbers need to be adjusted a little.

    ...RNG isn't being addressed, but I think Seal Rock is a game mode where, even though there's an RNG factor, coordination and team work will improve your chances to win. Not always though, and double S ranks spawning right next to a GC base might still cause you to lose. But if a team is coordinated enough, you're likely to win more often than not. RNG will not force you to lose every single game.

    ...I don't know, do you really want a healer busy talking to their LS/FC and letting you die? The matches are only 10-20 minutes long. /shrug

    ...I agree. I'd like to see SE bring Secure to level 60 and improve their roulette.

    ...As mentioned before, this issue would be addressed with the removal of GC restrictions.

    I've been following FFXIV PvP, their interviews, their trends (in particular to WoW PvP) and this is simply my two cents based on that knowledge. As you can see above, many of the issues *may* be resolved in Patch 3.2, while some still need to be addressed.

    This is 100% percent speculation / my understanding, not facts. I do not google how FF works

    Imho the purpose of "Roulette" is very different of what you expect from it.

    Because it is "bad" for you, there is the bonus to still make you sign up!

    The way I see it, it is not for YOUR variety "Oh what exciting content will I get to play now". Like, at all. It is for OTHER players than the ones signing up.
    The reason you get thrown into the same content over and over is because THAT is what people want to play. THAT is what other people ACTIVELY chose to qeue for (As in: Not choosing roulette. But Qeueing sealed rock).
    It is meant to ensure that everyone gets to play "his" content, even if nobody else wants to do that. 2 new players qeue for sastasha. Nobody else does -> Roulette low fills 2 slots and bam, game. It picks games that are close to starting, if possible and pits you in.

    Nobody qeueing for Slaughter? No Roulette player gets slaughter. Nobody qeueing for Tit Ex? No Roulette player gets Tit Ex. Everyone qeues Sealed pvp? All Roulettes get Sealed. If the algorythm doesn't find anything like at all, ONLY THEN does it fill the whole game with ALL roulette players, and a 100% random content. After some time has passed without "reasonable" ("real" signups and wait time) choices. I get sastasha normal tons (New players, Transfers etc), Rav hard, sealed Rock. No Surprise to me, that will be what many people "want" me to play with them. I do not want to since Rav HM is a pain with blind players. Or Garuda normal. But hey, it helps the game and is actually the perfect way to work.
    Again, just assumptions. I would love ct "forced" by roulette
