The devs are simply not releasing enough content to keep the playerbase as a whole occupied.

yes the game is designed with casuals in mind, but call me crazy but saying well 70% of the players are casual so tough luck to the other 30% sounds like a stupid business move.

The vast majority of my guild is taking a break. About 50% I doubt will come back, the other 50% it depends on if 3.1+ actually changes course from. Even patch being a few primals and 1 RAID, and odd patches actually having stuff to do.

Game needs about 10 fold the content at endgame.

I mean come on a game released in the early 2000s released with its first expansion with over 30 instance boss fights, 100+ open world bosses, 5 large scale raids, and a tiered endgame content (Sky)... In the same amount of time that it was released we have 1 endgame raid (Which is not really a raid) and 2 instance boss fights for our endgame.... Just WOW.

People cannot like XI for whatever reason but the endgame design of that game puts XIV to shame.
