    DPS Hotbar setups (PS4)

Thought it would be a useful idea to create a thread for everyone to post their hotbar setups when using the crossbar setup for controllers. I had seen a thread specifically for Summoner but why not compile it all in one place!

I've had a lot of trouble optimizing my hotbars so I figured other people are also having this issue occasionally.

My bars for Dragoon. I'll make up some similar stuff for PLD and WHM tomorrow and post those up, too. I recently swapped out Ring of Thorns for Mantra because my WHM asked me to start using it in A3S, and RoT has no place outside of dungeons/AoE crap where I just can tap R1 to get there anyways.

I also have my DRK bar all planned out, and gonna be working on BLM, next. I'll post those once I have them, too, with a little paint.net magic to fill in the skills I don't know yet. xD

I've personally understood the fascination of looking of other people's hot bars.

Don't you guys play with muscle memory

Muscle memory is needed to play optimally, yeah.

Generally, Extended Crossbars and /chotbar macros for pet classes are your best friends to streamline things and minimise the number of actual skills on your bars.

I set mine due to muscle memory and put my DOTs in the keys I automatically use whenever starting a dungeon/trial/raid. I also keep Bane in an easily accessible spot near my other DPS options, my summon close to my Ruin II, and my Aetherflow options close at hand. I keep a macro for LB(for those rare dungeons where I'm actually allowed to use it) and a macro for rezzing should it be needed. Other than that, the other places I set for what I deem fits the situation. Not the best SMN I admit, but I'm not the worst.
