2016 Heavensturn idea

Heavensturn - the yearly event of eastern travelers coming to Eorzea to celebrate the changing of the heavenly guard. Next year is no exception and the next animal according to the Chinese zodiac is the Monkey. I pose to everyone and hopefully the devs an idea for this coming years Heavensturn. Please recall the story "Journey to the West" and one of its main protagonists Sun Wukong - the Monkey King.

*The story itself shows a journey heading west which makes our connection between the story title and the flavor text from last years event.
*The story also has connections with dragons (Heavensward)

Aside from the usual headgear, a fun idea would be the introduction of a mount. In the story, Sun Wukong is able to ride on a cloud as a type of mount. We now have the ability to fly with our mounts in Heavensward. A flying cloud would be a nice nod to the story while still being able to provide a fun mode of transportation.

I'm sorry if this sub-forum isnt the appropriate place for this. I debated on where it would fit best but wasn't sure. Please feel free to move it to a more appropriate area if it exists.

I am hoping enough people have thoughts and ideas on this and perhaps a mod or dev may enjoy this idea enough to present it to The Twelve.

Anything to connect it to Journey to the West, man

Dragon Ball Z was inspired by Journey to the West, (That dragon thing explains a lot actually) but a flying cloud would a little more difficult to render in a game with XIV's style than an Anime

But we're in the topic of the book, how about implementing the Seven Star Sword as a glamour for Paladon and Dark Knights (and may be Ninja as well)

If they did the seven star sword...what about the other jobs? I feel like that would seclude some jobs due to a lack of reference material. With a cloud they could reskin the ADS mount since it already hovers. You can sit in the same position, adjust the height and strestch it to make it less round. It may not be as difficult as you think if you consider the elemental aether that comes off the ponies. They could make a clear aether in the same fashion.
