PVP: Eagle Feather/Icarus Wings alternative methods to obtain

Seal rock has massively increased the size of the pvp'ing population. Which in turn has made the demand for Icarus/Eagle wings far greater than it has ever been.

The only means to obtain these are through Eagle Feathers which are dropped from boar skin maps (there is one quest, but its not repeatable). Since HW's release, most old content is being done far less than before.. and boarskin maps are included in that. Ultimately leading to a dwindling supply. The demand is becoming far higher than the supply. Due to the fact that the content it is rewarded from is outdated and buying the maps to farm them is very cost/time efficient this problem should just get worse and worse. I can burn through 100 or so Icarus in a day of pvp... but the amount of time recquired to farm that many?

Please review the means to obtain these items, as it is becoming more and more of a hassle to obtain them due to low supply.

They could be added in a shop for gil, a hw monster drop, or even added in wolves den merchants for wolf marks. Anything really, there just needs to be a more accessible means of obtaining them.

I never really understood why you couldn't buy them with Wolf Marks in the first place. It's a PvP specific item, but you can't use your PvP currency to obtain it, nor does obtaining it have ANYTHING to do with PvP content ... That's asinine.

There is so much potential to expand the Wolf Mark / vendor system in PvP. SE needs to buckle down and start taking notice of its deficiencies.

They're often sold for less than the NPC turn in price on Leviathan. I've never used them.

Disciples of War, for the most part. With proper usage of them and whichever TP restoration skills the Job has access to, a DoW can Sprint on CD without any TP problems. This all but overcomes the advantage that DoM have with Sprint due to them not needing TP for anything else.

It's also useful for DoM who spend a lot of time in combat. Doing so means they won't have a full TP bar when sprint comes off CD due to the slowed regeneration when in combat. Using the TP restorative before a sprint allows for longer Sprint duration on demand.

I'll admit that I don't use mine all too often, but having a stack on hand just in case you need some TP is really nice.
