I was in idylshire and in (5,6) there is an upside down map, i't looks like its on purpose, there is even a small map on the side that looks graphicaly diffrent but its still one eorzean map upside down.
i just thought it was funny.

Illuminati confirmed. Coincidence, I think not!
I reported this back a week after 3.0 dropped but haven't heard anything on it. I'm assuming it's just an overlay bug which is pretty low priority (and won't be fixed until a major patch). If it is indeed intentional then I'm sure the reason is pretty humorous (such as "Goblins actually prefer to visualize the world this way")

if thats an easter egg, such as that iluminati eye thingy, makes perfect sense, meaning there is a spy in idylshire! (alexander quests?)

I like the note tacked on to it. I imagine it's a PA request to fix the orientation of the map by someone who could do it but doesn't want to be responsible for damaging it.
