I finally did it! 145/145 minions

It's been a long and pricey road. So many hours of grinding, non-stop gil farming, and devotion to gathering my maps. I have been really into collecting minions since seeing the cait sith doll as the pre-order bonus.Each minion, even the cash shop ones, are tied to special memories from lucky dungeon runs to random gifts from my hubby. I even recall the moments where I got my 1st baby raptor or tiny rat. The world was new, fates were so mysterious. I had no idea how to play the game or what was going on. I just remember seeing people gathering around a vendor after a fate and I went to go check out what was going on.

Other minions, like onion knight, were beyond frustrating to obtain, but it felt so good to earn it! I spend two months of doing a CT once a day until I won one. I lost so many rolls. There were so many soul crushing groups and all the wipes.... the wipes! It was a true triumph and the hardest minion to obtain, for me personally!

Then, minions like my assassin fry and littlefoot, were given to me by my friends in-game. We often give each other rare minions to help each other out. I have a handful of minions that carry deep sentimental value, a token of friendship from people I care a lot about.

I remember gambling on my nutkin. I proceeded to buy 14 unhidden maps in a row and on the 14th, I saw the word "nutkin" scroll up on my screen only to look at my chat box to verify I was not seeing things. I freaked out so hard! I think I almost flipped my flimsy desk I shot up so fast.

These minions have always been so special to me. They are like a little memento of good and bad times alike.

I hope you guys can find as much joy in minions as I have throughout my time in FFXIV.
