    Seriously, how...

Are some people getting all their crafters done in days? I asked and was told levees are the way to go but they aren't exactly infinite. I've looked at guides, been doing GC turn ins but only have 1 - 2 levels in all after...not a week. I was also told not to bother with collectibles until after 55.

So how? I loved being totally independent with all of them lvl 50 pre-Heavensward, and I would like to achieve that again.

JFI: my levees are fairly low due to having leveled the Land / Gatherers with them (about 40 now).

There's a simple 3 step program to leveling crafts quickly:
    1. Have gil
    2. Have time
    3. Throw both at your crafts

Hit lvl 56, start spamming blue scrip turn ins. Infinite allowances+the exp you get from crafting the turn ins.

Sadly, this is almost the single most inefficient means of leveling up as well. The average collectible hand-in is worth about 100k at level 56, with highest quality, you might squeeze out 120. The average levequest is also worth 120k, with a double bonus for HQ, making it 240k. The GC hand-ins, which can be done only once per day, can range from anywhere up to 1.6 million XP for a starred HQ hand-in.

So, yeah. While you can do tons of blue scrip hand-ins, you'd have to craft a significantly larger number of items to pull this off, so it's only for those who have a lot of gil or materials to throw away.

A minor correction, HQ hand-ins are worth double, not triple. This was reduced long before Heavensward was released, and the base experience for the leves increased at the same time to compensate.

Blue Scrip turnins are not that bad. It depends on your timing.
The most efficient way to level 50-60 is to hone in on the cheapo recipes that appear in both the Leve and Rowena. Now, I understand not all classes have this equivalent but an example would be Mythrite Patas for BSM or Marron Glace for CUL. You craft/gather/buy a whole bunch of the raw mats. You then attempt to HQ every Pata, if you succeed in getting the HQ bar full then you turn off the collectible synthesis and let it HQ if you get part of the way then collect it for Rowena. This way, nothing is wasted.

Basically is GC turn in > cheap leves > scrips > new craft bonus > cheap mass craft. I think with like 70~ leves you can lvl a craft from 50 to 60 no problem.

I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

Do ixal dailies to level any crafter below 50, pop GC engineering manuals to get free bonus EXP! Do your challenge log, I suggest doing it on your higher level crafters, my 55 CRP got 220k for 5 melds. Hope that gives you more help.

I take pride in myself that I used only about 200 leves for all my classes to go from 50 to 60 within 15 days.

The key is really to keep burning about 6 leves per day on something, but not to go overboard too early (between level 50 to level 55). Then use more and more leves towards higher levels.

Always make use of EVERYTHING available, including GC turn-ins, Company-issued engineering manual (for manual crafting), Commercial Engineering Manual (for quicksyn post lvl 55), FC buff on crafting EXP, food to add 3% bonus EXP, go almost every item on crafting log, and then grind yourself on stackable ingots/lumbers.

When manual crafting, always try to push quality to max, it gives about 4x more EXP than quicksyn.

Once you have acquired enough stats, MACRO your craft so u can do it with 1 or 2 buttons. Then grind the hell on ingot/lumbers that you can macro on.

Towards level 57 to 59, massively do leves (and collectables if you run out of leves).

At the end, each class should only need about 25-ish to 30-ish leves to go from level 50 to level 60.

That's how someone get from all-50 to all-60 in less than 20 days (but this is assuming you don't gather all the raw mats yourself).

If you gather the mats yourself, it will take much longer - especially if the mats are random drops from monsters. In those cases, it's better to have more retainers. If you have 2 DoW/DoM retainers and 2 to 3 DoH retainers, they can do the work for you quite efficiently. If not, buying mats from MB is another option to speed things up.

Honestly with crafting turning away from battle crafting kinda makes the craft ummmm useless o.O? Kinda like having a swiss army knife in the middle of fully functional kitchen... why use a swiss knife when you have way better tools to get the job done? Yea there's some weird looking glamour stuff you can do that will cost you a mil or 2 or 3 or force you to to purchase gil from one of those wacky gil spamming no good **********F******D******** S*** but hey at least you will look like a million gil.... with only one piece made .....

Anyway crafting 3.0 made crafting pointless and stupid. It's only good for glamour and 95% of stuff you can make is ugly and not worth your time..... especially since you are held behind a cap and several hours of gathering o.O? just to make an item that takes just as much time to make as running to the fridge for a nice cold bottle of soda pop. It's absolutely insane what the devs did to crafting in HW. I swear they lost there minds. And anyone who is willing to even do all of that pointless grind is equally insane.

just 51-60 in a days? its possible, with collectable synthesis you will reach lvl 60, from 51 around 5 hour of straight crafting (you need around 270 item to make for lvl 51 item, and less if you use higher level collectable item)

Gil its not really a problem if you have lvl 60 DoL at your hand, just gather unspoiled nodes between your craft, and the damage to your pocket will minimized (lol)

make sure to be wise to choose what item for the collectable, in my server make a lvl 51 collectable item costing around 3-6k per craft, and you get 1-2k cashback from the NPC, so it will cost you around 270-1.350k per class you are leveling, but that is in my server

yes start collect turn in start from lvl 55 is good because the blue script, but what use for the blue script anyway? boulion cube not selling that good, and other food ingredients from the scrip its not selling either. and remember for the higher level craft, higher cost it will take too, the lvl 55 craft start to need grade 1 status dissolvant, need better gear, more expensive metal. dont bother the blue scrip collect, except you can make good money from the script.

-From person who do 1-60 for 6 class DoH in 4 (96 hrs) day play time
