Hi, I play FFXIV on a PS4 on a large flat screen. Have to squint to read the text, this leads to tired eyes and short time online. Can you not create an "EVEN BIGGER" size to accomodate us console players?

I play on 46" TV and to realistically be able to read the text in chat on my screen, I must sit no further than 3.5m (12') from the TV. Most times I sit approximately 2.5m (8') from it.
How far away are you sitting?
How big is the TV?
On the same note, can we please have some way to make the character name texts smaller. Sitting on a desk by a computer screen, the names are still huge and if there is couple things even remotely nearby, impossible to read as they overlap.
If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
The font size in chat bubbles for NPC text is so small. Everything else can be resized, this is *necessary* for PS4 players.
Woah... That timing... Pretty amazing.
Would you happen to have a link for where I can find those notes? Before I created the thread I clicked the patch notes section at the Lodestone, but I think I'm not looking at the right patch notes. I checked the latest ones for Heavensward, and then As Goes and A Realm Reborn, and all three seemed to not have had patches for some time. I'm obviously missing something.

The latest patch, 3.2 "Gears of change" was applied less than 24 hours ago.

The UI scaling option does not apply to the PS4 version. Though it's always included the option to choose between "Standard" and "Full HD" modes. Setting the Display mode to standard will scale all of the UI objects in the game.
