    Surecast could use a buff.

    So currently Surecast prevents a cast from being cancelled by mobs who deal enough damage to stutter it.

    What could be done? I think either of these could make this skill more worth it to pop.

    Casting a skill would continue to go off, so long as the target remains targetable, even while stunned as long as the cast began before the stun.

    The next spell losses it's degree of casting limitation and can continue to cast even as the mob moves behind the player. This would not increase range.

    Or just make Surecast's effect lasts the entire duration of the skill instead of just fading as soon as you use a skill

    That's what the PVP Skill Equanimity does, while the buff is up you do not get interrupted and it doesn't vanish on one spell use like Surecast.
    Surecast should be a lot more like Equanimity.

    Eh. The ability needs a buff to be useful, but blm doesn't need a buff. Plus any of the things you mentioned swiftcast already does; any buff to it will make it either a better or worse version of swiftcast.

    Surecast and freeze are pretty much only for pvp at this point, but that's not such a bad thing.

    The idea is to make it a feasible cross class as well. It would become similar to swiftcast in that the skill actually gives a benefit, you just wouldn't be able to weave abilities afterwards and cast times are still just as long.

    You can think of it like collective unconscious. As long as you don't break it, the game allows it for the first one and the second idea would be unique to it as a buff.

    This skill is the most useless one in the whole game! <,< - a blank skill!
    It doesnt help if youre paralized, or getting stunned or moving around.

    After I found this out by myself. I never used that ever again

    I would be perfectly fine with Surecast, if it was to allow moving while casting for that one skill.
    I wouldn't even mind longer CD.

    This is something they should just make happen always by default rather than tying it to an ability usage. FFXI did it this way and the game did not suffer for it...

    Having to maintain direction for offensive spells when it is not needed for healing/support spells feels so arbitrary and silly.

    Had a drk in SV HM pull the pack to the group (in hallways) and kite them in circles around us. Multiple times. I was on blm ;_;
