Hey Excalibur,

Ren Hanagami from the Harbor Herald here with your daily scoop on what's happening in our crazy but beloved Server Excalibur. I think it's finally time to see what excitement and dangers we all experience within the realm of Eorzea. So much is coming our way in such a short time, and with that said, I did some snooping around an decided to ask some local adventurers what they plan to do with whats to come in our new upcoming patch 3.1 and more.

Lehra Star

Our first adventure I met in Idyllshire where it was showering with the alittle rain here and there but I was able to get a successful insight on our adventurers view of things.

There's the "New Relic" progression coming, what do you think about it? what class do you plan to progress with and why?

I like the relic progression. I think it's a great way to get the players that worked so hard on their relic weapons to continue to use them.

What do you plan to do once patch 3.1 releases?

Probably raid as much with my fc as possible , They're very excited about the patch.

There's speculation that FFXIV might be coming to the Xbox One platform, what are your thoughts?

I think that's great, I have friends that play on Xbox and some that play on PS4. If it goes to xbox, I'll be getting some of my friends to play with me.

There's going to be the House-mate system for personal housing owners, letting them share housing features with friends. What do you think about this new unique feature?

Is there really? I didn't realize? I think it's nice, half the time I don't know what to put down :3

Halloween Event is approaching soon, will you be dressing up? what kind of prizes do you think we'll get this year?

I adore halloween >.< not sure if I'll be dressing up this year. I don't know what to go as and as for prizes I really hope we can get more Halloween decorations for the housing.

Final Question
There's a rumor that we will be getting the API add-on something like a parser, what are your thoughts on this? are you going to use this feature? how do you think it will help?

I honestly would love a parser, I normally do healers and such, so when I switch to DPS, I have no idea what I'm doing good, bad, excruciatingly, awful>.> So having that would really help.

My Second adventurer I met in North Thanalan and boy was it Foggy, but I managed to catch this Miqo'te's good side.


There's the "New Relic" progression coming, what do you think about it? what class do you plan to progress with and why?

I'm excited! I liked the old relic chain also. Planning on doing BRD and MCH because I fill that slot in my Savage Static

What do you plan to do once patch 3.1 releases?

Relic Grind First, will check out Lords of Verminion definitely also! And we have our airships ready for the new airship content of course!

More players is always good but I don't have any consoles so I'm fairly neutral about it.

I want it to happen! I am married and play with my husband. We need our love hut!

I'm not planning on dressing up but I keep hearing about server costume contests so I will probably tour around and check out other people's cool costumes! I hear there's a broomstick mount coming out this year and I'm really excited about that!

As someone who does endgame content I think a parser is pretty much a necessity. If they make a native parser I will definitely use it! I think even if you know your class inside and out having the number feedback is imperative for getting the best out of your job if you're a DPS.

And My Final Adventure is one of my very own FC memebers he was actually cooking dinner at the time but I had just caught him after doing so and decided to get a peek at his ideas.

There's the "New Relic" progression coming, what do you think about it? what class do you plan to progress with and why?

Well, I can't say I think too much about it yet. I try not to give my hopes up for things I know nothing about. That said, if the relic quest provide the interest, I will go after my black mage weapon. Black mage is my main. I am most comfortable with and knowlegeable with my black mage. I love making the world burn.

What do you plan to do once patch 3.1 releases?

The new dungeons will get my attention A.S.A.P. I will then turn focus to the Void Arc since I love 24 man raids

There's speculation that FFXIV might be coming to the Xbox One platform, what are your thoughts?

I am all for it. I think they are just rumors since the xbox brand is DOA in Japan and not strong wnough in other territories for SE to relegate the resources for that sort of endeavor.

Hasa is too poor for personal housing. i would love to take advantage of it!

Everyday is dress up for me! The reason I am so poor is that I spend everything on glamours. I do have some darker more Halloween glamours lined up....

Final Question

The API add on would be amazing. I think it helps level the playstation-pc playing field since many pc users have the feature via 3rd parties. It would help recognize DPS issues. I am very hardcore about upgrading and researching rotations. Having a parser would be a dream for me.
