This is a pretty major issue, more serious then the ones presented in 1.18 anyway, I'm curious to hear any counter arguments as to why you think it isn't. I'm trying to form a constructive discussion about this topic but all I keep reading are FFXIV styled facebook comments, and petty retorts. That wasn't a personal attack on you but the uncreative responses i've been receiving as a whole.

this is hardly an issue, because right now PLING isnt harming anyone nor making obstraction to players towards progression, iam pretty sure SE is more worried about how to make battle designs, redisgn maps etc, then cater your non-existant hardcore needs, if you truly think that it is a "major issue" then dont do it.
