I'm at 6+ days of Thunderbolt Eel as my Collectible

Basically the topic. I can confirm since last Saturday and suspect since last Thursday (8 days total) I have had Thunderbolt Eel rather than the 8x easier to catch Tiny Axolotl. This is not only statistically unlikely, it's making the grindy gathering system even more miserable (I have 30+ TAs on my retainer). Oh well, I'm sure it's just bad algorithms and/or me getting hit with the RNG stick but I finally needed to vent.

I've been on Thunderbolt Eel as well for 5 days in a row now, I think. Capelin/Loosetongue do get rotated.

Loosetongue is worth to farm for red scripts (use patience 2 for direct catch)

for the eel: als long as the weather isn't fog, dust or clouds you can use a stonefly nymph to 100% catch a blueclaw shrimp. with an HQ blueclaw shrimp you will catch 100% an eel. if you have enough GP (try the lvl 50 no-star food. you can buy almost all the mats from NPCs) you should use patience 2. with a bit of luck (fish gets away sometimes) it's 2 HQ eels within one patience 2 buff. so you can catch 4-6 within one ingame day. (use the bladed steel jig if patience is not up)

it's possible to catch 8-12 axolotl in one window. no reason to be happy about the eel.

High enough collectible to be handed in? Maybe I need to test some mroe Axolotl windows. But I've always gotten considerably more hand-in-able thunder bolts consistently than Axoltl. And you're not burning blue scripts while doing it.
