Why am I failing the Lvl 30 Rogue quest?

Why am I failing the Lvl 30 Rogue quest?
I get to the bit with the bombs - rush off and destroy all three, sprinting to ensure I get to them in time, but within seconds of getting back to the big fight with the Boss it announces that I've failed the duty. Again and again...

The rest are all alive. The Bombs are destroyed. So what am I missing?
Or is just a case of replay again and again till the rest of the thieves manage to stay alive, and what I do is irrelevant?

Are you sure everyoen its alive? i have problems with it too until i notice someone die xD, Kill the adds before you go and hit the detonators. This way, Jacke only has to heal one target

Took a number of goes, but finally did it.

I didn't think you had time to kill the Boss group minions though as you are on a tight timer to get the bombs.
Generaly though it failed within a few seconds of me getting back to the fight, so if it was a death it was due to too much damage done to them before I was able to intervene, so not much I could have done there.

The final time I did it just the same but got lucky I guess. It felt like a proper fight that time rather than a case of 'run in and suddenly fail before I can make a difference'. I threw in protection and some cures that I have from cross skills, but normaly the duty would have failed before I even had time to do that. And they didn't seem too badly off. In fact seemed like a relativley smooth fight compared to the other times.

Will chalk it down to bad luck on the Random DMG generation as I did nothing different for the attempt that worked.
