Possible speed hacking in Seal Rock

I haven't seen someone doing this, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's real. Yesterday I zoned into a match with people talking about speedhackers in adders.

Did you report it? Even if you don't know his name you can still report him. Fill out the ticket with the time you saw it (with your timezone info), your datacenter(Aether), the offenders team(Adders), the offenders job at the time(SMN) and the area on the map you saw it happen(numberxnumber). It might be enough info to get him in trouble. It also might not be, but I say it's worth a try.

We already have eso farmers, bots and a screwed up queue. We don't need speedhackers too. :/

You can also get their name by doing an emote at them. You still won't know their server though, unless you happen to recognize the name.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to record my single encounter with that cheater. Moonwalking's normal yes, but that single cheater I encountered outran (while moonwalking) 2 players on Chocobos. Yeah of the 6-7 players present at the time, 2 were on Chocobos. After my sprint wore off I mounted but it was pretty evident that I'll never be able to catch up with him and so I gave up.

Pretty sure it's similar to the speed-hacking gathering botters used in the early FFXIV days, where they zip along the ground at alarming speeds.

Tbh this just sounds like lag. I haven't seen a single cheater/hacker in PvP.
Try posting a video next time.

It's definitely speed hacking, not lag, and we know their name/info we just aren't doing a witch hunt. Already reported them a few times. Believe me if any of us had a good working video record software that wouldn't lag us into oblivion, there'd be a video.
