    Raids loot restriction proposal.

Sometimes farming raids for items I get irritated by people who roll 'need'/'greed' on everything, even items they clearly don't need/cant use. (e.g. single person geting all sands/oils of time; players without single conjurer level win WHM pieces in WoD). And im not the only one.

Untill there is 'one item per week' restriction everyone thinks about what they really need. I think it would be nice if they would act same way when restriction is lifted.

My idea is, instead of completly lifting those restrictions when duty is old enough, make new restriction that is 'unlimited items per week but only one item per run'.

I rolled greed on something I didn't need because I was being greedy and most likely selling it to a vendor if I couldn't sell in on the Market Board.

That's what that button is for, you know.

Retainer gear, seals, desynth, glamor etc is one of the few reasons to run that old content. Take that away (or well, severely restrict it) and you'll give them even less reason to run the content, and as others mentioned, people will ditch after each boss, especially if they win a lot (I mean this happens even when the content is current).

I roll on basically everything in dungeons/older raids because it's free FC points. With my FC running 3 airships and wanting to start up the 4th, we go through a crapton of points on ceruleum tanks alone, not to mention what we use on company actions. It's a fairly small FC, so we all have to work at earning points; we don't have the millions upon millions stocked up that larger FC's end up with. If people ask me politely not to roll on gear for a certain class, I'm happy to pass. If they're jerks about it, they can suck it up and pray to RNGesus. If I could only roll on one item per run, frankly I'd just bail after I got my one item, craft for half an hour, and requeue.

I roll on everything as well but not really for company points. More for seals to buy tome materials to help with company crafting. There's also gearing up off classes to consider. I mean, why struggle to gear and level when I can gear up THEN level, keep ahead of the curve gear-wise. The reasons to roll on gear, even gear you don't appear to need, vary widely. Restricting rolling on gear that's not considered vital anymore for frivolous reasons is... frivolous.

Ugh, I personally only roll greed on stuff that I will "need" relatively soon because one of my classes is near that level. If I intend to vendor something, I don't roll at all, because greed overrides "no roll" and I feel secondary need has higher priority than "I'll just trash it".

Sucks a bit because it keeps people waiting, but there is no "vendor" button, so...yeah.

You can turn in the items to your GC for seals, this in turn yields FC credits. This doesn't really count right away though since you typically can't turn in said gear until the next raid tier is released. As an example, LotA gear couldn't be turned in until ST was released.
