Suggestion: Readable books on player furniture bookshelves

A thought occurred to me while reading a comment in another thread. Someone said it would be cool if we could actually read some of the books in the Gubal Library. I assume they mean beyond the few that were strewn around the dungeon. We should expand on this idea!

It would be really cool if SE were to implement some of the lore like the kind that shows up on the forums, into books that could be clicked on in housing furniture. We have these beautiful looking bookshelves with all these books, but we cant read any!

This would be a fun way for the creative lore team to throw some extra stuff out there.
I for one would find it interesting to see an encyclopedia set that goes over Sharlyan or Allagan lore

Edit: Could also take it one step further, and any lore message we pick up while in dungeon (such as the random notes/books in dungeons) could be added to our bookshelf for re-reading. I'd love to sit in the library I made in my house late at night with no lights on and re-read Edda's spooky journal notes :O

With picture and activity books designed especially for the walking po....lalafell.

    Could get behind this!
Could be a cool feature for the lore interested player, reading about Eorzea before the Calamity ect.

Oh, yes! let me pick up the books in dungeons, and add them to my shelf! I'd feel SLIGHTLY less bad about halting runs to read them on my first go through!

It was actually odd they never thought to implement this considering the dialogue in FF14 is literature on its own.

It would, sadly, be a lot of effort for little reward. Writing a book or even a short story isn't something you just go and do, especially if it needs to have a certain level of quality, and this would be akin to a side quest that gives no XP, gil, tomestones or any other kind of reward - a long talk quest you have to do just to do it. How many would?

The recap of books and notes found throughout the dungeons seems to be the most realistic use of this idea.

Open up the content as player contests. XI had a "build your own quest story" short story contest once. XIV could easily have a "write your own legend for an Eorzean historical figure" contest. Get the community to do the work! Top ten winners get their stories in the game.

    Want!!
Shouldnt be too hard to just copy paste from the library to a moveable item. Other books dont need to be full stories even just excerpts of lore or legend.
