    swapping too much to swap

so i've been healing on mmo game for many year and i have the habit of casting dps between every heal (as long as mana and mob damage allows this); but this habit has made my stance dancing sloppy. (to be fair i've never been good at stance changing with any game or job, i like flipping a switch and leaving it on/ off)

is it the habit that's bad or the effort ("shut up and get back in the gym")?

any else had problems stance dancing?

i'm i just thinking too much? should i only swap when i know i can do long chains of dps?

I think it's just something you should get used to, especially if you're a Scholar. I've been playing Scholar for a while now and stance dancing comes very naturally. That being said, I will only Cleric if I can at least apply my 4 DoTs. Otherwise it almost seems better to add shields first and then Cleric so you know you'll have the time to apply DoTs and do more.

I don't play too much WHM, but they definitely have the best burst damage out of the healers, so a quick cleric to cast a Holy and Assize can make a lot of difference!

I play even less AST, I guess just play solitaire and buff someone else and forget Cleric? ;p
