Custom party's//solo play//level sync

Sorry if this question has been talked about to death, having a hard time finding clear answers. Im gonna type my questions plainly. Thank you in advance for your help!

1) Can you solo dungeons? (if so, how? and will it level sync me to...16-18 for satasha when im lvl 44 atm for example?)

2) How can i create custom parties (like 2 tanks, 1 healer and 1 dps if i wanted....or ALL tanks....) is there a way to change the party size? So a light party dungeon normally consists of 4 ppl, can i make that 5 or 6 somehow?

3) level syncing in fates and dungeons, is there anyway to stop that? so if i wanna help a lvl 15 friend in fates or dungeons (either via custom team or duty finder team) can i make it so i STAY at level 44 with all my abilities???

Welcome to the game.
1. Yes but you cannot do it until you are a much higher level (not completely sure about this requirement).
You register for the dungeon and set your dungeon configuration to Undersized Party. You must have cleared dungeon before hand. While unsynced you cannot loot chests or gain XP.
3.0 Patch Notes search for Undersized Party.

2. Form the party before registering for the duty. No, you cannot exceed the maximum number of players for the specific duty.

Great thanks for that....following up...

1) using that "undersized party" option. can i form a party of my level 22 friends and enter a dungeon I have done before (but they havnt and they just unlocked it?) so for example they just unlocked say...tam tara deepcroft....its gonna be there first time in the dungeon, can i form a party with them and go through the dungeon with them??? or will it not let me bcc they technically havnt cleared it yet.

2) my friends joined the same grand company and started completing guild quests??? but they dont seem to be able to help each other complete them. Even though they are apart of the same grand party. Can someone list quests that you ARNT able to do as a party? and that are just solo quests.

1) my FC has done lot of clear runs to some member in unsynced so I'd assume it's possible. It of course still requires them to be at least of the minimum level for the content and have it unlocked.

2) what quests you mean? Many quests in the game have the sort of mini instance fights and they are always solo only. Can't really start listing them, maybe look in some xiv wiki. However if you mean Leve quest, all grand company Leve quests need to be done on solo (this used to hold for all Leve quests before HW I think)

Also for your original post 3) question, no, there is no way to do Fates unless you sync to the level. However if you want to help friend doing them, while you can't hit the fate mobs if you are not level synced, you can still heal people who are doing the fate while staying on your original level. Of course that means you won't get the fate done on yourself.

You can still loot chests in dungeons while solo (unsynched), there is no exp unless its for an achievement ie: "dungeon master". At your current level you should have no issue soloing Sastasha, wither proper gear. I've done it with level 35 character.

Okay thanks for the information! one last question...

What is the point then of soloing a dungeon?? bcc i can only solo one if im like uber above the dungeon level...so treasure chests and stuff wont be any good to me...and i cant even get experiance off soloing to level up...so why do ppl solo dungeons? is there a point im missing?

Quick clears of old content for the sake of quests that make you repeat stuff you don't really want to do in the first place, and easy carries for players who weren't good enough to clear "hard" content the old fashioned way. What does Extreme mean, anyway?

One point I've noticed some people to have is.. just to see if they can do it. To have a solo clear of a dungeon as a notch in a belt.
