What about this game keeps you logging in even if you're not totally happy with it?

i still enjoy this game, as a Crafter (cul and alc) my food and potion is still selling well even with staleness of current patch, but theres nothing that make me REALLY want to login and play as soon as i get to my computer. login just for checking retainer and cook if all of my item sold out, if not, just log out again and watch some dota

My guild, outside the people that I play with there is honestly nothing I really like this patch at all. I am sick of dungeon grinding for tokens and ffxiv's version of raids are just garbage. (the fact they are called raids and not instanced boss fights is laughable... why is ravana not called a raid? it is no different in design then alex). The game needs raids not this 8man BS we have now.

I am here until everyone in my guild finally has enough of this crap we were handed this patch. Honestly most of the members I have left are like me... we love the guild and playing with each other but we are really not liking logging into the game anymore.

That my GF likes the game, she's catching up (she's into Dreams of Ice now) and then we'll be able to do contents together! I'll marry her for sure

Just told her patch 3.1 is coming in a few weeks, that gave her hype to get lvl 60 ^^

I love it all. Main draws would be story, battle system, friends, interesting items to collect. I get excited about the smallest little changes in minor patches. This game is amazingggg.

I want to love this game but what keeps me playing is my friends and my love for my character and the world. I log in daily because I am forced to do so to cap eso (something I hate by the way) and acquire a few addition pieces of equipment for my character to look good in and make a pitiful attempt at raiding in the broken content we currently have.

Aside from these, I hate everything else about this game. I would have left a long time ago if it wasn't for these things.

Nothing really, used to log in daily, now i log in maybe 4 days a week at most.

At the moment I tend to gardens, check retainer ventures/sales, do daily gathering map, check for additional housing plot openings and then go play something else. It is actually a nice break from the esoteric grind - will pick that back up when 3.1 hits

My completionist nature. I like filling up numbers, be it ilvl, leveling lower classes to 60 or getting all the stamps at my local video game store on my stamp card :3
Oh yeah, my ingame friends and fc are kiiiind of nice to see from time to time, too
And I guess it's somehow really relaxing to just log in for a bit everyday to go brain-afk and level up or stuff like that. Needs less concentration than other past times.

That being said, I'm generally pleased with the game, except for smaller issues, so...I don't need big incentives to keep logging in
